PRSA Hawaii Chapter Recognizes Two New APR Members

HONOLULU – (July 8, 2016) The Hawaii chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) announced the latest recognition of two members with the industry’s prestigious APR credential – Christina Yumul, APR of Storieology Communications and Krista L. Groothuis, APR.

The Accreditation in Public Relations (APR) is a mark of distinction for public relations professionals who demonstrate their commitment to the profession and to its ethical practice, and who are selected on the basis of broad knowledge, strategic perspective, experience and sound professional judgment.

“We welcome Christina and Krista to the ranks of Hawaii public relations professionals who hold the APR credential,” said Duke Gonzales, APR, who serves as co-chair of PRSA Hawaii’s Accreditation Committee. “We have now grown our APR community to 26 members, and we encourage all PR practitioners to consider pursuing the credential as a way to further their professional knowledge and practice.”
