Digital Media Specialist

The position works in the Digital and Print Media Program, the purpose of which is to provide strategic solutions that leverage technology to create, deliver, and optimize content to forward the strategic priorities, core principles, and mission of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
The Digital Media Specialist III provides support in the production of all products and events developed or distributed by the Digital and Print Media Program including but not limited to: Internet-based multimedia & applications, mobile-based multimedia & applications, video and audio production. Whereas multimedia is defined as media and content that uses a combination of different content forms including but not limited to: text, audio, still images, illustration, animation, video or interactive content.
1. Graduation from an accredited college or university with a degree in communications, web/application design and/or development or related field.
2. In lieu of a degree, four (4) years of progressively responsible full-time experience in the web/application design & development industry, communications, or related field.
3. Master’s degree in web/application design & development, or related field can be
substituted for two years’ experience.
