Erica is a mama, foodie, world-traveler, and media and politics addict. She has more than ten years of experience in social/cause marketing, health communication and strategic communications for Fortune 500 companies, statewide advocacy coalitions and itsy-bitsy nonprofits.
Currently, she serves as social marketing director at Project Kealahou, a federal grant within the Hawaii Department of Health that collaborates with the state’s child-serving agencies, communities and families to nurture healthy relationships, well-being and community connections for Hawaii’s girls. She is also usually juggling a few freelance projects; her favorites are always in the intersection of marketing and the common good.
A true-blue Tarheel and UNC basketball fan, she holds two degrees from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill: a MA in mass communication with a focus on social marketing and health communication, and a BA with distinction in journalism and public relations.
