Nathan has been immersed in public relations in Hawaii’s travel and tourism industry for more than 13 years and has worked on some of the state’s top leisure destination marketing campaigns, while leading a team that has brought in several popular national TV shows from the Travel Channel, Food Network, Cooking Channel, TLC, Bravo, and more.
As president at of the public relations division at Anthology Marketing Group (AMG), Hawaii’s largest full-service integrated marketing company – he is responsible for the management of the firm and supervising the public relations activities for the Hawaii Visitors and Convention Bureau (the state’s marketing agency for North America) and Big Island Visitors Bureau accounts.
Nathan is also a lead strategist helping clients elevate their brand presence in traditional and new media channels and has also developed strong relationships with top travel media across North America.
He is a past president of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) Hawaii Chapter (2010) and currently sits on the Travel and Tourism Section's Board of Directors. Nathan also serves on the advisory board of the Kapiolani Community College's Business Marketing Management Program.
A graduate of the University of Hawaii at Manoa, Nathan earned his Bachelor of Arts degree in journalism/PR. When he's not working, he enjoys spending time with family and friends, golfing, eating, cooking, photography, reading, traveling, and music.
