PBS Hawai‘i reaches into local homes and hearts with authentic storytelling that touches and changes lives. It is a digital touchstone for the community, connecting and convening citizens of all ages in civil discourse, appreciation of culture and the arts, lessons of history and in shaping Hawai‘i’s future. A nonprofit 501(c)(3) multi-media organization, PBS Hawai‘i is the only locally owned broadcast television station in the state.

In 2016, the station moved to a new, cutting-edge facility with a fresh vision for the future. So what does this mean for PR professionals? What kind of new opportunities does this open up for us? How does PBS Hawai‘i fit into the changing landscape of broadcast media?

Join Linda Brock, Vice President of Content for PBS Hawai‘i, for a discussion of these topics, a tour of the new facility, and more!

About Linda Brock: In her role at PBS Hawai‘i, Brock develops an integrated content strategy to deliver programming in multiple ways to better serve the public. Brock has worked at Honolulu commercial television stations and in the telecommunications industry in Asia. As PBS Hawai‘i’s previous Vice President of Programming and Communications, Brock was involved in discussions that gave birth to HIKI NO, Hawai‘i’s statewide student news network.
