Deborah Zysman, Executive Director, Hawaii Children's Action Network
Deborah provides overall leadership at HCAN and works with the Board of Directors and community partners to improve the lives of children. She has over a decade of experience leading non-profit organizations. Deborah has an MPH in community health, has served on many community boards, and was recently appointed as a Weinberg Fellow by the Harry and Jeanette Weinberg Foundation, Inc. She is passionate about social justice, community advocacy and building community leaders.
Lisa Kimura, Executive Director, Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii
Lisa is the executive director of Healthy Mothers Healthy Babies Coalition of Hawaii. She has a background in communications, advocacy work and early childhood development and prior to her current role, worked in nonprofit marketing for Aloha United Way, where she developed the organization's first social media campaign strategies, and was director of marketing for Aston Hotels & Resorts, where she helped lead an international rebranding campaign. She was appointed to the Governor’s Early Learning Advisory Board and is a member of the National Preconception Health and Health Care Initiative, Hawaii Maternal & Infant Health Collaborative, Women’s Legislative Coalition, Fetal Alcohol Task Force, Safe Sleep Hawaii, and is trained as a breastfeeding peer counselor and certified lactation educator.
