About the APR Credential And How PRSA Hawaii Can Help You Earn It
This year, PRSA marks the 50th anniversary of the Accredited in Public Relations (APR) credential -- the only nationally recognized certification in the public relations profession. With all the celebration, you may have questions about the APR and what it could do for your career.
The APR is a voluntary certification program that tests a public relations professional's knowledge, skills and abilities (KSAs) in 10 categories ranging from research, planning, program evaluation, business literacy, ethics, management skills and more. Many of the top PR practitioners in the country hold this credential, shouldn't you?
PRSA Hawaii is launching a new APR initiative that includes scholarships for potential candidates and special benefits for current APRs.
Join us for this FREE information session and discussion to hear about the APR credential and its value, the process, what's involved, and PRSA Hawaii's new APR initiative. Current Hawaii chapter APRs will be in attendance to share their experience and the value and impact it has had on their careers.
Complimentary lunch will be provided. Please RSVP by June 24, 2014.
