Welcome to the New and Improved PRSAHawaii.org!

The Hawaii chapter of the Public Relations Society of America
launches a refreshed website as part of its 70th anniversary

Aloha and welcome to the new online home of PRSA Hawaii! As you can see, we now have a refreshed website with a more modern look-and-feel that still provides our members with the latest chapter news and information.
As you navigate this website, I’d like to point out some highlights and improvements:
  • Members Only Section – We have created a section just for our members, where our popular Job Board page now lives. Since the former website limited this function, we made sure it was part of the new design. To access it, members can request a password from the login page. If you have any member login issues, email prsahawaii@gmail.com.
  • Easier Job Posting – We recognized the need to improve our Job Board form, and we now have one that should be easier to fill out. No more creating a special account just to post a job. We have also linked it directly to Paypal so you can be assured of a quick and secure financial transaction, whether you have a Paypal account or not. We still reserve the right to review your job submission first, but now the process will be faster for all!
  • Testimonials – As PR professionals, we all know the strength and value of having testimonials for your organization or client. The same is true for PRSA Hawaii. We are now featuring members’ stories about their experiences in areas such as receiving their APR designation or being honored at the Koa Anvil awards. Plus, we have a few new videos on our Awards and Programs pages.
  • Better Looking! – We are proud to present a site that looks cleaner and is easier to navigate. We can now display and update photos from our recent events, like Koa Anvil awards or our networking events.
We encourage you to take a look around and share it with your network! I’d like to thank our volunteer Board members for getting this site up and running, specifically our Communications Co-Chairs Noreen Reimel and Jennifer Lieu. They’ve been working on this project since the beginning of the year, and I think their hard work has paid off.
Looking forward, I’d like to encourage you to take advantage of our upcoming programs and networking events. Our next professional development program is a breakfast with serial entrepreneur and PR maven Patrice Tanaka on Wednesday September 13th at 7:30am at the Prince Waikiki hotel. And if you’re considering becoming a member, this is a great time to join with our Membership Drive happening now until September 15.
Mahalo for stopping by and exploring!
