PRSA Hawaii Announces 2017 Leadership Team and Agenda

The Hawaii chapter of the Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) is celebrating its 70thanniversary this year, and today announced its 2017 Board of Directors.

“This year, we look forward to honoring our commitment to our members by providing value through relevant programming, active networking, and a milestone Koa Anvils Awards event showcasing the best work in our local industry,” said Jennifer Armstrong, 2017 chapter president. “This year’s board of talented communicators bring a confident energy to the year ahead, and we hope our efforts will raise awareness to the important work our members do as public relations professionals in Hawaii.”

PRSA Hawaii named the following officers to its 2017 Board of Directors:

  • President – Jennifer Armstrong (Kaia Consulting)
  • President-Elect – Jocelyn Collado (Becker Communications)
  • Past President – David Pettinger, APR (Anthology Marketing Group)
  • Secretary – Kalli Abernathy (Bennet Group Strategic Communications)
  • Treasurer – Keith DeMello (Office of Enterprise Technology Services, State of Hawaii)
  • Communications – Jennifer Lieu (Ulupono Initiative) and Noreen Reimel (Ulupono Initiative)
  • Membership – Randi Camaiore (freelance healthcare consultant) and Randi Jeung (Waimanalo Health Center)
  • Koa Anvil Awards – Michelle Hee (Anthology Marketing Group) and Huy Vo (The Ritz-Carlton Residences, Waikiki Beach)
